Irene Robbo’s team received a master class on bowls today. A cold Wind blowing from the lake, saw our 90 year olds play a magnificent game to defeat Robbo by 20 points.
Kath Archer, Coral James and Merle Armstrong ( who played 9 ends) and Betty Searant (who played 9 ends) were on their game today to win by b…iggest margin . This was a fun and enjoyable day and although we had bowls in the head we were out classed by a very determined team.
These ladies are formidable, and are up to the challenge for the Club Fours. Beware ladies.
