VBC MIXED PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP 2/12/18.

Winners David and Jessica Govan defeated Terry Jones and Kay Johnston.

VWBC HOSTED THE INTER CLUB CHALLENGE 15/1018.

Valentine were victorious and retained the Trophy winning with 15 shots. East Cessnock and New Lambton equal on 11 shots.

LMDWBA PAM FIELD CONSISTENCY 9/10/18.

Sharon Gilmore (Valentine) defeated Kim Nillesen (Charlestown) 150-92. Outstanding effort Sharon.

VWBC MINOR SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP 16/8/18.

Final proved to be a great game of bowls. Winner Anna Harris, r/up Rose Sharkey. All of our members who entered played excellent bowls.

LMDWBA SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP 15/5/18.

Kay Johnston, Nancy Childs Rhonda Littlewood and Sharon Gilmore played in the semi Final, Valentine were very proud of our ladies. The Final played at Toronto was another close game with Sharon and Kay fighting for shots. Sharon won 25-24 scoring 2 shots on the last end. Fantastic bowls and Sharon will play inn the Regionl Play-offs at the Central Coast

VWBC MAJOR SINGLES 26/4/18.

Nancy Childs defeated Sharon Gilmore in a very hard fought game. Nancy was down 6-20 on the 17th end and proceeded to win the next 11 ends 23-22 and won the next 2 ends by one.

Winners Vicki Fletcher and Geoff Armstrong defeating Freda Wells and Bob Atkins (Charlestown) and will played off in the Stare Regional Mixed pairs Championship

Rose Wayland, Rhonda Littlewood, Kay Johnston, Sharon Gilmore 19 defeated Debbie Bullen, Trixie Stauble, Margaret Barry, Lorraine Holiday 14, in a game played with great skill.

2017 CLUB MIXED PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP 26/11/17.

Winners Rhonda and Jack Littlewood, defeated Barbara and Murray Bennett 21-14. The Bennett's lead all the way to the 17 end which became, 14-14. The Littlewood' then accelerated and won 21-14.

2017 MIXED FOURS CHAMPIONSHIP. 20/11/17

Winners, Jess Govan, Ian Macrae, Gae Macrae, David Govan (skip) defeated, Jenny Baldwin, Alan Aurisch, Glenda Morgan and Paul Birt 20-17. This was anyones game until 2nd last end.

2017 PAST PRESIDENTS CONSISTENCY 14/10/17.Gwyn Garrett defeated Vicki Fletcher in a very close game. On the second last end score 149 Gwyn 141 Vicki. Last end 150 each. Extra end resulted in 5-5. Another extra end Gwyn scored 8 Vicki 2. Spectators were on the edge of their seats for a well played game.

LMDWBA REGION 6 REPRESENTATIVE RHONDA LITTLEWOOD, Valentinecontested at the State Singles Championship at Taren Point 18/10/17. Rhonda won her first 2 games and played Natasha Scott in the Semi-Final. Natasha (Raymond Terrace) was too good on the day. A great effort Rhonda, reaching the State and Semi-Final. Congratulations.

2017 FINAL OF CLUB FOURS 29/8/17.Winners Kay Johnston, Gwyn Garrett, Irene Shirlow and Loris Humphreys defeated Vicki Fletcher, Barbara Bell, Cheryn Derrick and Brenda Seery. This was an exciting game of bowls.

2017 EDITH GALT ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD FOR VWBC BOWLERS PLAYING 5 YEARS AND UNDER. 3/8/17.18 VWBC ladies played 3 games of 10 ends to determine winner. Wendy Lesniak defeated Paulette Bignell in a strongly contested final.

LMDWBA SENIOR PAIRS FINAL 11/7/17.

Kay Johnston and Gwyn Garrett were defeated by Freida Wells and Janet Gray Charlestown 18-17, in a game that came down to the last end. A great game of Championship bowls.

LMDWBA MAJOR SINGLES FINAL 11/7/17

Rhonda Littlewood Valentine, defeated Nancy Childs Valentine. Valentine were extremely happy to have 2 players fighting for the final. Rhonda was victorious in an exciting game resulting in 25-22 final score. Well done.

2017 FINAL OF CLUB TRIPLES 25/7/17. Nancy Childs, Eunice Albert, Heather Bree, defeated last years winners, Anna Harris, Dianne McCarthy, and Maxine Dunning. This was a great game, however luck and good bowls were with Nancy's team.

2017 FINAL OF MINOR SINGLES. 11/7/17. Maxine Dunning defeated Kim Nillesen 25-16.

FINAL CLUB PAIRS played at VWBC 11/5/17. Congratulations to Nancy Childs and Eunice Albert defeating Rose Wayland and Rhonda Littlewood 24-13, in a competitive game. Rose and Rhonda lead until the 12th end. Nancy and Eunice secured 5 shots and 3 shots to hit the lead. A great game and played in good spirits. Happy birthday to Nancy. Well done.

2016 PAST PRESIDENT'S CONSISTENCY - Winner Kay Johnston r/up Denise Miller. Played in very windy conditions, Denise played extremely well however Kay's experience in the wind won the game.

2016 EDIT GALT ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD4/8/2016 in cold wet conditions. Winner Denise Miller r/up Gay Cheshire. Both ladies won 3 games, Denise winning on a count back. It was wonderful to see 14 ladies who have been playing 5 years and under taking part, and shows our strength for future years.
